| 1 | Da Bears (Eager Beavers) | VS. | Dynamic Duo |
|
The Rhino's Vision:
The Dynamic Duo lead this series 2-1 with a 120-69 win in week #7 over Da Bears. After stringing together 6 straight wins, the Duo finally stumbled this past week against the Young Guns. That's stumbling as in scoring 99, but losing by only 6 points! Da Bears have been playing well down the stretch, largely to the emergence of Willis McGahee. But in a case of the unfortunate luck of the draw, you get the Peyton Manning led Duo in the first --and your last playoff round. The Rhino says...Dynamic Duo win by +8. |

| 2 | N3V1L | VS. | Rough Riders |
|
The Rhino's Vision:
In their only meeting in week #11, the Rough Riders prevailed in a close 72-69 game against the rookie N3V1L. This game can best be described as the "We're not worthy" Bowl. The Riders have been wandering the landscape for several weeks with very little leadership. Their guided early season success got them in contention along with blind luck this past week to take them to the second season. Nellies story is almost identical except they have been guided the whole way. They started off red hot then fell into a deep hole, only to pop their head up high enough to clip the doormat DOHboys with a whopping 48-27 victory. As much as I would like to take N3V1L in the minor upset because they deserve it, I can't over look the schedule. Then again, Riders management could show up to misguide their team at the wrong time! The Rhino says...Rough Riders win by +3. |

| 3 | Invaders | VS. | Private's Parts |
|
The Rhino's Vision:
With the longest rivalry of all of this year's playoff teams, this series is tied 9-9. In week #10 the Invaders edged out the Parts 98-93. And that was the start of the Invaders quietly shooting into the stratosphere. Prior to that game everyone had left them for dead. But it the past four games this team has lit it up for an impressive 102 points per game! Meanwhile the Parts pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, winning their last 3 games to notch the top slot in the Southern Conference. And what did the feat gain them? Drawing the hotest team in the conference in the first round! But not to fear, the Invaders are coming back to reality this week. I guess you could sort of call this an upset at the Invaders have had the hot hand. But the Parts are slotted at #1 for a reason. The Rhino says...Private's Parts win by +2. |

| 4 | Young Guns (N.F.O.) | VS. | Fighting Lounge Chairs |
|
The Rhino's Vision:
Here's another series that is tied, this one at 5-5. In week #9 the Young Guns scored a decisive 81-61 victory over FLC. This is old hat for the Chairs as they have made the playoffs the past three years and four out of the past 5. The result? A dismal 0-4! And the complete picture isn't much better as they have a miserable 1-6 playoff record. Is this their year? The Gunners aren't exactly playoff stars either. They are 1-3, but this also includes a heartbreaking 72-71 loss to the Invaders in 2000. Tis all history though.
The Rhino says...Fighting Lounge Chairs win by +1. |
