RhinoVision - Week #13

The Northern Conference is just way too close to try and figure out who needs to do what to make the playoffs. Suffice to say both of these teams need some help, but the Duo also must win. If they lose, they are gone. Both of you probably want to give this a try. The Duo certainly better if they have any ideas of defending their "title". I suggest you look at the NFL schedule and then place your "Thank You" call...

The Rhino says...Dynamic Duo win by +4.

THRAK is on a two game slide and even if they faulter here, they most likely will still make the playoffs. A TSharks or Chairs loss puts them it. And it makes no difference for the Boats because they appear to be in even with a loss. Guess it's your lucky day. THRAK is a veteran club that knows how to win when they need too. And with parity reining supreme, they pull out of the nosedive...

The Destroyers are in the must win of their lives here. If they win, they are in. If they lose, their 0-4 division record will send them packing. Apparently SQUONK and the Goblins agreed when the Rhino started preaching weeks ago that the Destroyers were not a winner. And whom do the Destroyers need to bleed for this win? None other than one of the hottest teams in the league right now, the Hemo Goblins. (Crowd goes "Ohhh!")

Sucks to be you. The Rhino thinketh you be spared from 0-4 though...

There are no official GOTW's because there are lots of key match-ups with heavy consequences. But we do have this game, our Dog of the Week! Not that SQUONK is the cats meow, but the Guns are truly low life scum. A 4-8 record, unpaid dues and unresponsive. Late word out of the SFFL League Office from an unnamed source: "Their days are numbered and we've cleared a spot on the Wall of Shame next to Two Putz." One has to wonder if they were 8-4 and playoff bound, would they be any more responsive? The Rhino can only hope that SQUONK puts a hurtin' on these pisants...

The Invaders would probably be happy with a loss here this week. What!? Relax and let the ol' Rhino explain... A handy defeat of THRAK last week for a playoff tune-up, a let down this week and then a three game romp to their second title. It might just be money in the bank.

The Chairs have battled back in the second half of the season, but now it comes down to a very tough game and a phone call to the Parts' offices to wish them well this week. In week #8 the Chairs stood up and showed up the Invaders 114-107. Very impressive, but can they do it twice? Let's call it for what it is...

This is almost an exact repeat of the previous game. Assuming you overlook that 100-42 shellacing in week #2 that the TSharks got from the Parts. The TSharks can lose and still get in if the FLChairs also lose. Good thing for them...
