The Elephants looked like the Elephants of old last week as the stomped out a solid effort. This week SQUONK comes to town looking to hang on to their tenous lead over the Destroyers. It was only a one point victory, but a very important one point at that. Hang on to yourself SQUONK, because the Elephants are taking you for quite an upsetting ride... If my two previous picks pan out, the Goblins could benefit a lot from pulling off the upset in this game. The Boats meanwhile have stumbled a bit of late, but the Goblins are generally good for boosting your morale... The Rhino says...Gravy Boat Captains win by +7. |

This week's Granddaddy! Are we looking at the Southern Conference championship preview? Possibly, but the Part are much like the Boats in that they have had their ups and downs the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately for them, the Invaders are not the Goblins. But the Parts may end up looking similar...(Too funny...gotta give you all the possibilities on this one, you decide.) This isn't a sure thing, but you've got to go with The Man until proven otherwise... The Rhino says...Invaders win by +5. |

THRAK has been on a roll the past two weeks and just squeaked by the lowly Chairs. Is there enough magic left for another win? The Guns are coming off a drubbing by the Invaders that should have shown them they are not among the elite at this time. There's a number of negatives for both of these teams this week and this game could go either way, but I'll give a slight edge to THRAK... The Rhino says...THRAK win by +2. |
