RhinoVision - Week #02

The Invaders downed the Elephants with a quick shot last week. This week they get last years champ. A champ who went down fighting, but went down anyway.
Well this ain't 2001 and everybody going to take their best shot at you. This week will certainly be no exception. Get ready Duo, you're going someplace you probably don't want to be....

The Rhino says...Invaders win by +4.

Okay Boat-boy...you've shown you have grit. But you did so at the expense of the Rhino...never a good idea pisant. So what's with that name anyway? Do you think you're Henry Fucking Hudson?
And Elephants, are you going to salvage your season of the proxy? You've got an important game this week and a chance to bitch slap a rookie, what could be better. It's your chance to shine...don't disappoint me...but you will.

The Rhino says...Gravy Boat Captains win by +3.

Hey, Mouth of the South vs. the new Mouth of the North. The Guns looked good before the season, but when down to the upstart Goblins. Surely they would like to bounce back from that this week.
And Destroyers...you were oh so proud of your big victory over THRAK (whom we will shred shortly). Yet you are in last place in the Northwest Division. Yes folks, that's right. Trailing the PUNK-ASS ROOKIE Homo Gobblers and that perenial powerhouse SQUINK. So, this week I'd like to provide you with some reference reading material...you're going to need it

The Rhino says...Young Guns win by +5.

The Rhino told you the Goblins weren't your typical P-AR team. They didn't get off a crushing blow, but they got it done against what the Rhino feels is a good Guns team. So enough with the kudos and on to their next "challenge"...
Teeheehee. Do we even have to discuss this one? Somebody might want to help SQUONK out by learning more about this service. The Goblins get an early season gift here...

The Rhino says...Hemo Goblins win by +6.

Hmmm, did we see the real THRAK this past week? Meanwhile the Chairs got pancaked by the upstart Goblins.
So one of these two loser is going to crawl out of the hole and begin to salvage their season. Whoever loses this one is well on their way to being a spectator in the Southwest Division race where the Invaders have a game in hand against both of them.
So what's a plains dweller like me to do with this one? I have no confidence in either of these team so don't be suprised if they play to a low scoring tie. But I'll go with my preseason assessment and give THRAK the benefit of the doubt that they will bounce back this week...but I wouldn't put money on it.

A special Rhino note...this is the Rhino's 300th game prediction...
The Parts are joyous this week because they redeemed themselves for their loss to the Duo in the C-DC last season. Yea, Rah! Who fuckin' cares, it's about the here and now. Granted that a win is a win, but surely a hollow victory. It's a long tough road to get back to the big dance again. Would have been much easier to do it right last year. Oh, and thanks for not covering the point spread slag!
Meanwhile back in Gotham City...
The TigerSharks were busily living down to their expectations. And holy shit Batman! They're doing it again...
