RhinoVision - Week #05

Definately a GOTW! It's got all the fixin's: North vs. South, Battle of the four and oh's, C-DC Preview? Maybe. The Rhino thinks it's pretty clear that the Beavers are the "team to beat" this season. And until recently, I viewed SQUONK much the same way. We'll save bagging on them for a bit later. The Parts? Well, they have a solid grip on the Southern Conference, but I don't see them being as strong the Beavers in the long run. But with a lot of games to play, the Jax & Philly bye week (Hi Hooter), their knack (of the "My Sharrona" variety) to win when they need too, and the simple fact that no matter what the teams, South > North = Minor Upset!

The Rhino says...Private's Parts win by +2.

You, know you give a team the opportunity to redeem themselves against a potential doormat (THRAK), and what do they do? They are the Prove what I will henceforth call "The Rhino Theorem (TRT)". That being the expression above: South > North. Say what you want, but the evidence is clear that even shitty South teams regularly beat North teams. Although up until this season the TRT did have what we all know as the "Elephants Exception" That being that the Elephants can beat any other team at any time EXCEPT when playing in the Cross-Dressed Championship or against the Millionaire Pond Scum.

OK enough digression, shall we get back to the task at hand?

Short and sweet: SQUONK has stumbled of late, but they will do their best to disprove the TRT this week.

The Rhino says...Young Guns win by +5.

Can't imagine anyone outside of these two owners really gives to shits about this game! I certainly don't, but it's my duty. Indy host Oakland. Not an easy task. And that's the Duo's ace card. The NFL schedule favors THRAK this week and they showed some signs of life against SQUONK and seem to have a slight upswing going. Neither of these teams are going very far, but I'll give THRAK the slight edge this week.

Come on, it ain't gonna happen no matter how may times Dorthy clicks her heals together. Face it, you and your little dog are about to get another ass kickin'!
