1 Rough Riders VS. Elephants
The Rhino's Vision:

The first of this week's two games of the week... Well, the Rhino has been tough on the Elephants since his return. I've picked him to lose all three weeks so the Elephants must like being an underdog because they are 3-0 during that stretch. And the Rough Riders I started out tough on as usual, but this team has certainly earned the respect that I now have for them. They are for real boys. They may have started 0-3, but during their current 6 game tear they are averaging a whopping 81.6ppg! So it would seem that nothing should slow this stampede down, except possibly the Elephant's stampede. And that the way I see it, because the NFL matchup's this week favor the Elephants. Ricky Williams will run over the San Fran D. And the New Orleans D will have Jeff Garcia feeling more like Jerry with the numerous colors he's going to be seeing, DUDE! Tack the Giant's QB at Cleveland and Mr. Harrison visiting Chicago's transparent defense and it's a done deal. The Riders can now start protesting, while the Elephant cringe at my pick/kiss of death!

The Rhino says...Elephants win by +7.

2 Eager Beavers VS. Fighting Lounge Chairs
The Rhino's Vision:

Think this is a Who Care's game? Think again. The Chairs are only an average team, but they are in the playoff hunt in the Soft 'er South Division. But more importantly the Beavers should -and can still be a contender up North. If ever there was a team that should have seen their opponents flagged for piling on, it's the Beavers. A win this week will move them a little closer to striking distance. The Chairs need to keep pace with the Invaders, and the Beavers need to stop their losing ways. But only one of them can have their way and the Rhino hears a big thumping on the ground...

The Rhino says...Eager Beavers win by +8.

3 Young Guns VS. THRAK
The Rhino's Vision:

This game is Gi-Hugical! THRAK got stumped 80-57 by the Guns back in week #5. This past week saw THRAK get back on track while the Guns stumbled, thus setting up the Showdown in the South! So is there any reason that this week will be any different than week #5? Possibly. This is a tough game to call as these teams are pretty even as their identical 6-3 records indicate. I have a call in to Harry Pelzer to see if he has some time to take a look at this game. I'll update this column later in the week if I he provides an outlook. But this is the Rhino's show and we feel we should delve deeply on this one. Let's look at the matchup's at WR...YG's: McCardell - BYE, Rice - @NO, R. Smith - @NYJ. THRAK: Alexander - OAK, Brown - @KC, Hayes - @STL, Holt - CAR. So I'd say the edge goes to THRAK. RB's...YG's: Anderson/T. Davis - @NYJ, A. Green/Levens - MIN. THRAK: K. Faulk - BUF (or more likely the bench), Pittman - WAS, E. Smith - @PHI, L. Smith - @DET. I'd say slight edge to Young Guns. QB's...YG's: STL vs. CAR, THRAK: IND @CHI. Call that one even because these will be two seriously high stat QB's this week. These are the elite of the league here. And finally Kicker's...YG's: ATL vs. TB, THRAK: STL vs. CAR. Definately to THRAK's advantage. So that makes it Guns-1, THRAK-1, one QB draw, and kickers make the difference this week...barely...

The Rhino says...THRAK win by +1.

4 Private's Parts VS. Hackers
The Rhino's Vision:

The Parts are surely dripping blood after last week's drubbing by the Rough Riders. And this week he's handed off to the Hackers for their turn. And we all know how sure handed the Hackers organization is...UH OH! Guess what...this isn't a good time for the Hackers to be coming up against the Parts as they start to feed on their own blood. I've got to get my page generator updated so it displays a big Upset of the Week banner. Between the match up's and mostly gut instict I see the Hacker's joining THRAK in the Part's Dungeon of Dispair...

The Rhino says...Private's Parts win by +5.

5 SQUONK VS. Invaders
The Rhino's Vision:

SQUONK has returned to their former ways! The've taken a very good start and turned it into mediocrity. You can take the ROOKIE out of PUNK-ASS ROOKIE, but you still need to towel off behind the ears. How low can this team go? Not as low as last year's, but they seem content to let their season slip away. You can't afford too when the rest of your division is so competitive. Meanwhile the Invaders continue to stumble along. This might just be a battle to see which team can f*ck up their season more! I don't even want nor need to discuss this further. As bad as SQUONK has been, they get a pause in their downward spiral this week...

The Rhino says...SQUONK win by +4.
