SCUM by +10
| Just when I think I have a handle on what's going on around here, I get pasted this! The Rhino, 1-4 this week thought this was one of the more obvious picks of the week. The SCUM seem to be a feast or famine team. They either blow a team away or the show up as average. Last week they had almost twice as many points (75) as they got this week. Go figure. Without Dunn & R. Smith and Barry getting somewhat throttled, they managed an average type score. The Kirby & George running game of the Hackers ran away with this game even while Favre had a bye this week. Who could have expected that? This game probably more than any other really muddied the waters of the North Division. |

Riders by +1
Oooooh. Very impressive. If you combined both of these teams points they would have only beaten two other team this week (FLC & the Elephants). If you doubled that they have just clipped the Cannibals or THRAK. And thanks to SCUM's loss, the Riders are still at the top of the North Division. How many more games will pass before the Riders fall to their rightful location in the standings? They've dodged the bullet for a long time already. They could easily make the playoffs at this rate. The Beav's will surely take what they can get as they crawled away from the Prom dress fitting room at least for this week.

THRAK by +2
A season high 20 points from Abdul-Jabbar and 13 by the just aquired Terrell Owens lift THRAK to their second best outing and their third win of the season. The bye week (R. Harris) and injury (T. Allen) killed the grey ones running game. No one stepped up to fill the void and a number of points were left stranded on the bench. But even that would not have been enough this week as the Elephants miss a chance to vault to the top of the North Division.

FLC by +6
FLC has only churned out 30 points in their last two outings. Last week they snuck past the Elephants, but once again the south rises up to thump one of the Yankee teams. The Bulimic Cannibals stand proud this week as they are the first tip over the Chairs. And they didn't just eek one out. No, they pasted them by a 2:1 margin. The KC connection and Mr. Kaufman lift BC to a much needed divisional victory.

Invaders by +3
Certainly not what the Invaders wanted to see happen this week as they are now two game back from the Parts. It's been a tough road for the Invaders who have now dropped four of their last five games after a 3-0 start. Of all of the winners this week, the Part's are by far the biggest winners. They have put two games between them and the Invaders and thanks to FLC's dismal performance they are now only a game back from the top. Clearly clipping the Chairs down the stretch is quite possible now that the horseshoe is no longer shining.
